The lighthouse depicted in the coat of arms is the lighthouse of Recife, not Olinda.

Info Here

But this stamp is important because is based in the stamp of the centennial, issued in 1917.

What that mean?  It means that the 1917 stamp is also a new stamp with lighthouse at least for me because that stamp was not in my list of Brazil.
Two new stamps with lighthouse.

It is a very slow time of the year.  Lets make this more interesting...

Do you like the mix Paintings and Lighthouses?  Well, I have a new issue that involve a painting of the 19th century that shows a lighthouse.
I didn´t post it yet because now I am with the hard task of get a good image of that issue.  But the interesting part of the painting depicted in the release is this:

Click over the image for a better look

Do you see the lighthouse at the distance?  That is how it looked in that time. It was destroyed by an earthquake and rebuild in the 20th century. This is how it looks today...

Do you guess who is this?   All the info and images as soon I can get a good set of images.

Third Reprint of the 2011 Issue

This week I received the last reprint of the original set of 4 stamps of the Definitives "Lighthouses of Jamaica" issued originaly in 2011.
I couldn´t confirm the release date of this reprint. Some says that, despite the year printed, the release was in 2016. For the moment, I will asign to this set to the year 2015.
Nothing different in the design of the stamps except the year "2015" printed at the bottom of the stamps.

And the original stamp and the 3 reprints together, looks like this.  Click over the image for a better view of the different years...

Let´s see what will happen in the future with this 4 stamps and if the new stamps of 2016 will receive reprints .
