BEST STAMPS with LIGHTHOUSES 2017

Hello Friends:

This is the top 10 of stamps with lighthouses of this blog for the year 2017. Thanks to all of you that sended your opinions and helped to build this list.

1st Place BULGARIA - June 22 In Minisheet or single stamps. Fantastic set of 4 stamps with a great selection of bulgarian lighthouses. Shapes for all kind of preferences.

2nd Place GUERNSEY - February 15 Head to head for the first place in my preferences. So, why the second place?  Because it is a Post and Go, and the left part of the stamp with the blank space and the inscriptions diminish the beauty of the all.

3rd Place PORTUGAL - September 08 Great photo of one of the most beautiful lighthouses of Europe.

4  CAMBODIA October 10	Very welcome issue. Unusual selection of lighthouses very difficult to find on stamps. With a better quality in the photos, this set could be some places up in the list.
5 LATVIA September 08	Both lighthouses depicted are ugly. But the way the designer put the pieces together inside the frame results in a beautiful stamp.
6  SAINT PIERRE ET MIQUELON October 18	Gravure.  Few colours but with the right tone. Great stamp.
7 MONTENEGRO November 10	I am not a big fan of this stamp. But apparently it is appreciated by you, friends. It received a lot of votes that allow it to climb to the seventh place.
8 GERMANY June 08	Odd lighthouses selected by Germany this year. Kiel and Bremerhaven specially (aka Onion Tower). This last one,  bizarre but nice to see.
9 ALDERNEY May 17	Clean and bright view of Alderney or Manez or Quesnard Lighthouse
10 PHILLIPINES May 08	Unusual lighthouses to see on stamps like Cambodia. Fantastic skies. Visually powerful.
