These islands are under dispute between Japan and both Koreas.
Tok Islet (North Korea), Dokdo (South Korea), Takeshima (Japan) or Liancourt Rocks (other countries) are names that refers to the same thing. And that thing is a group of volcanic islands, islets and rocks in the Sea of Japan or Eastern Sea.
The 2 main islands of the group are depicted in the stamp. The West Island (left) is the biggest and the East Island (right) is the second biggest. This is the one that have the lighthouse at top.
The lighthouse crew and other people living in the islands at this moment are from South Korea.
