BEST STAMPS with LIGHTHOUSES - Year 2016

Hello Friends:

This is the top 10 of stamps with lighthouses of this blog for the year 2016. Thanks to all of you that sended your opinions and helped to build this list.

1st Place CHINA - October 28 Unexpected and beautiful. The stamps were the first images of some of these brand new lighthouses builded in the South China Sea.

2nd Place LATVIA - October 07 Great design. A lot of information and images in a tiny space of one stamp.

3rd Place SOUTH KOREA - August 25 Colourful design helped by a marvelous selection of lighthouses.

4  GERMANY July 07	Reinhard Scheiblich (photos) at his best. Specially Kampen, Even the cows combine with the lighthouse! Click Here for a look at Scheiblich and his work.
5 GUERNSEY May 25	Big waves and lighthouses, a combination that always results in a great view.
6  NETHERLANDS February 01 and May 23	Excellent year for us thanks to the serie "Mooi Nederland". Several lighthouses with a very good stylistic interpretation
7 NORWAY October 01	Sober but nice design for this serie that in 2017 will take a break.
8 SAINT PIERRE ET  MIQUELON October 07	I have a predilection for the gravure. So here it is the work of Elsa Catelin for the SPM stamp of Pointe-Plate
9 JERSEY November 4	Great photos of Noirmont and La Corbiere among the winter stamps of this year
10 IRELAND October 06	Disappointing design of the stamps of this highly anticipated set. This issue reaches the Number 10 only helped by a good design of the booklet and some great photos in the panes of it.
